The index is up 301 points from day"s low of 14,701. ___________________________________________ (Updated 1442 hrs) Market have recovered further owing to recovery in the realty index. The Sensex is now down 96 points at 14,978. The Nifty is at 4,443 - down 27 points. _____________________________________________ (Updated at 1409 hrs) The Sensex has started recovering and is now down 210 points at 14,863. The Nifty is at 4,407 - down 63 points. Tata Steel has slumped over 5% to Rs 439. TCS has tumbled 4.5% to Rs 518. Hindustan Unilever, Tata Power and Hindalco have shed 3.5% each to Rs 253, Rs 1,230 and Rs 102, respectively. Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys and SBI have dropped 3% each to Rs 760, Rs 2,020 and Rs 1,680, respectively. ONGC, Reliance Infrastructure, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Bank, Sterlite, Wipro, Reliance, DLF, ACC and Maruti Suzuki are the other losers. However, Bharti Airtel has extended gains and is now up 3.5% at Rs 397. Sun Pharma has gained 3% at Rs 1,242. Tata Motors is up 1% at Rs 433. The market breadth continues to be weak. Out of 2,538 stocks traded, 1,728 have declined while 736 have advanced.
