Sensex at day's low

All the sectoral indices are in red. The BSE Realty index has shed over 5.5% to 3,739. Sterlite and Hindalco have tumbled 5.5% each to Rs 625 and Rs 103, respectively. DLF, Tata Steel and Hero Honda have slipped over 5% each to Rs 374, Rs 445 and Rs 1,404, respectively. ACC, Reliance Infrastructure, ICICI Bank, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and Jaiprakash Associates have dropped over 4% each. BHEL is marginally up at Rs 2,205. The market breadth is negative, out of 2,554 shares traded, 1,674 have declined and 790 have declined so far on the BSE. The NSE Nifty is at 4,441, down 139 points. Cipla has declined 4.5% to Rs 209. Ranbaxy has added 2% to Rs 302.
